Which Bath Screen Should I Buy?

If you are lucky enough to have a bath but you don’t have space for a separate shower cubicle then you will need to make sure that your bath is suitable for showering by having a bath screen. Bath screens sit on your bath act as a splash guard when you are showering. Bath screens can move 180 degrees and come with bottom seals to make sure that they are completely waterproof.  They are a great alternative to a shower curtain as they are much more hygienic, easier to clean and you don’t have to worry about the dreaded mildew!
There are so many different types of bath screens out there, so which one is the right fit for you?
Straight
Straight bath screens are probably the most popular bath screens as they are compatible with regular baths and corner baths. Straight bath screens are made-up of one panel of glass, which is rectangular in shape. They are also available with a rounded top corner. Do ensure that you purchase a toughened or tempered safety glass.
L Shaped
L shape allow for a larger showering space and are finished with corners. They are made up of two panels of glass, the main shower screen and a smaller deflector panel which is attached to the large pane by a hinge. The L shaped bath screen can only be used with L-shaped bath.
Folding

The compact four fold bath shower screen is longer than the other bath screens providing more of a splash proof area. The four-fold screen is made up of four different panels of glass. It folds back onto itself in a concertina effect so it is out of the way when not in use. This is great as it means the bath screen does not impede on the bath when you are bathing. It is also much more aesthetically pleasing, giving your bathroom a clean and cutter free look.
